Babies babies babies

 This weekend for Conference we decided to go to Jerome where Ry's family lives. Since my family was in Arizona. Luckily we did because Ry's sister had her second baby Saturday. It was a pretty crazy weekend with her being in the hospital and us taking care of Madison (The big sister) She's an out of control child! But she's a silly girl. I went to Target with Carissa (Ry's sister) to get some stuff for the baby. We bought Madison a new baby doll and it seemed like she was only interested in the dolls binky. She's sucking on it in the picture. Seeing Carissa having contractions and the time after having the baby...made me want to wait longer to have one of my own. YIKES! Don't know how I'll ever get through it! (And I thought I wanted to watch the whole thing haha!)

 I'm another aunt!!

And for some more exciting news! Ry bought me a new car! We have been running on one car since we've been married. It's actually worked out really well, but we decided it was time to step up and get a second one! We both fell in love with the 2011 Jetta and we both love black! I named her Black Swan and I'm loving her!

 

With other news...Work is still going good. Ry is stepping up in his job and I'm so proud of him! He's still having fun collecting his vinylmations and spends lots of time decided which one to get next. Nancy and Kent (Ry's parents) came back with a few of them from New York. And mom and dad got him one in arizona! Thanks guys!

 A few weeks ago I was able to make it down for our first annual girl cousin's reunion! Such a blast! I have the best family in the world. They are all so beautiful. We had so much fun getting our pictures taken! Some random chip off the block was doing his yard work and somehow became our photographer. He was hillarious and a definite source of entertainment for the day. We ended up in his backyard on his swing set. Some great memories were created during this fun weekend!

 Of course I was able to spend time with my favorite nephew Can Can. A couple nights of being there I was able to stay with Bree and Bryce. Love this boy and already miss him. I can't wait to see you guys this summer! Even though I had a blast during this short weekend...I couldn't wait to get home to my babe!

Summer is right around the corner! We decided to get started on our yard work early and thank goodness for that. We spent a while on Saturday digging out the weeds and putting some edging in the backyard. I do have to admit that it was fun to get down on my hands and knees and get a little dirty...don't think I've ever enjoyed it so much! After all the hard work we rewarded ourselves with our weekly movie, Limitless. I think Ry and I would both say it was "just alright" Last night we also were able to spend some time with our friends Anthony, Kathryn, and Sidnee and Stephen. Had some delicious dinner and dessert and played games. Ryan and I are still keeping ourselves busy working away! We are so excited for our upcoming vacations this summer...and of course...getting tan! We both need it : )

Vinylmation Obsession

What the heck is a vinylmation and who the heck has this obsession? NOT GUILTY! But Ryan is....talk about someone who is online CONSTANTLY looking at these silly little Disney figurines. Sorry babe, they're not silly. Ryan fell in love with these vinylmations when we went to Disneyland on our honeymoon. I do have to say they are pretty clever....BUT they aren't something I would want to spend money on or collect. Ryan on the other hand....would. After FIVE MONTHS of obsessing and obsessing over them...he finally gave in and ordered some online. He ordered them off of Ebay and got pretty good deals on them.

The other day actually after work he told me he ordered a set online for $250. I didn't react very well....because, come on....who would?? After a while he told me he hadn't really he just wanted to see what my reaction would be if he really did. After seeing my reaction he definitely won't be : ) Haha that stinker.

 HAPPY LATE VALENTINE'S DAY!!
We had a lovely Valentine's Day. I showed up to work with a surprise vase of roses and a Valentine's balloon and card from my boss and his wife...so sweet! After work Ry and I went and had some delicious sushi....

We went and saw Gnomeo and Juliet...SUCH an adorable funny movie! Perfect for two childish newlyweds : )

We made a deal that we weren't going to get each other gifts because we had just bought a new entertainment center and i just got a new phone...but Ry just had to make me look bad and surprise me with a gift. Not that i'm upset that i got anything though....My adorable new Scentsy warmer..

It was fun to come home from our date with a surprise on our doorstep....

Thanks again Mom, Dad, and Bailey for the wonderful Valentine gifts. Mother has the most adorable gift ideas. A cute box with a delicious cupcake inside! We thoroughly enjoyed them even though we were completely stuffed....

Our very first date was last year on Valentine's Day : ) We went and saw Valentine's Day and ate at the Cheesecake Factory. It's crazy to think Ry and I have known each other a little over a year. We also just had our 5 month anniversary (is there such thing?) 

 Thanks husband for being the best Valentine 2 years in a row! I LOVE YOU!

Build Away Baby!

WOW!! Props to me...3 posts in 3 days! Shocking and impressive, I know. Today was a good day. Reason: being: it went by fast! (Even though we had a patient call in 15 minutes before closing and said he'd be in within the next half hour...course, we can't turn them away. Right after calling, Ry showed up to pick me up. So being 40 minutes over time, my poor baby also had to wait outside in the car. Surprised he didn't leave me. LOVE MY HUBS!

I found this website through Facebook called Knock-off Wood. Her name is Ana White and she's pure genius. She has all these cool things to make with wood, anything you can think of. She gives detailed directions on how to make everything! I found this entertainment center and fell instantly IN LOVE!

 So for the best news yet! My sweet, sweet hubs is making this for ME! We will be painting it black with a distressed look. I can't tell you how excited I am to finally have an entertainment center, and one made just for me! Will be posting the final results!

 My husband is a freak! But I'm so glad I have a husband who could care less what people think of him. He's just like my dad, for those of you who know my dad well, you'll know he's just like that. We get home from church and change into our comfies like always...but this Sunday Ry decided to throw some humor into it. Dang Ry...my jams look good on you!

 

 

Update

Hey all! We are starting nice and fresh! I decided it wasn't appropriate to have my blog link with my maiden name and it was bugging me so I decided to start over. For those who are looking into starting a blog, don't put your last name in it if you aren't married yet...you'll just have to change it. Just some advice : ) My email as also changed from danigardner7@gmail.com to lee.dani89@gmail.com. 

Ry and I are happy as ever! We've begun this new year with a change in our diet (excluding all pop and SOME sweets) and exercising more. We both know that when you're healthy...you're happy! It's felt really good. I'm sure we've all had a new years resolution that has only lasted a couple days...weeks...months...NOT THIS YEAR! Ry and I are both determined to get into shape. We've been awful at taking pictures recently but I do have something to share that I'm quite proud of. I do have to thank my mother for sharing her talents with me. I'm not as good as her YET but my creative and beautiful touch is coming along slowly.
