Service

Part of my team from Scentsy and I had the incredible opportunity to make a meal for the families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Boise.  What an awesome facility they have and all of the stuff that has been donated there.  We were able to tour the place and were in complete awe.  For those of you who don't know what the Ronald McDonald House is I will tell you!  It is a place for families to stay while their children are in the hospital for cancer treatments.  Most of them are from out of town.  They are able to stay at the Ronald McDonald house with no charge.  It was actually really nice.  We all agreed that it felt much like a hotel.  We all met up and went grocery shopping in preparation for the meal.
While at the grocery store, we ran into these handsome fellas.  Do they look familiar?  These are some of the players from the Boise State football team!
These are just some of the incredible people from my team at Scentsy.  I am so blessed to know them!
Down in the basement of the house, was this playroom.  Lisa made me pose and take a picture.
We are all aproned up and ready to cook!
 The menu for the night!
This is Lisa.  I love her!

We made a delicious lasagna and had a salad bar.
All our hard work paid off because it felt great!
If you haven't had a chance to go and serve over at the Ronald McDonald house, I seriously encourage you to do so!  It can be as simple as going over and making cookies for everyone!  I would love to come back for the holidays!

Christmas Newsletter

Top Ten Things That Happened in 2011
Ryan & Dani Lee

10. Dani finally got to see Ryan’s favorite band in concert, SafetySuit. Since we have been married they have turned into our family’s favorite band.

9. Ryan is still working for EdwardJones as a financial advisor. He continues to build his business and works hard so Dani can continue her shopping sprees.

8. Dani started a new job with Scentsy Inc. She gets compliments daily for her performance and has the house smelling goooooood.

7. Since we have moved into our house we continue to decorate and fill up the walls of our home. To this day we still bicker back-and-forth about Ryan’s Los Angeles canvas as the mantle in our front room.

6. Dani is STILL trying to learn how to budget. Even though she tries very hard, she can’t seem to break her habit of shopping for new things.

5. Ryan finally started his Disney Vinylmation collection after obsessing over the internet he finally broke down and has his collection up to 90. He has since started a COKE-COLA collection, with his signature pieces being two Polar Bears.

4. We continue to take advantage of having our families so close. Ryan looks forward to every Sunday to his one and only home cooked meal, coming from Nancy or Dina. We are also excited to have one more recent addition to the family, Reagan Morgan.

3. To bring balance to our busy schedules we still make time every weekend to have “Date Night.” We enjoy going to movies and hanging out with our good friends.

2. Since Dani has sacrificed having a baby to working. She was rewarded with a brand new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta (since she came into the relationship without any wheels).

1. We took a trip to Disneyland again this year with Ryan’s parents and enjoyed riding the new Star Tours and Little Mermaid rides. We are planning to take another trip or TWO in 2012.

Happy New Year!!

Hello blog readers..sorry about the major slackage!  We had such a great Christmas this year and New Years!  It was Ry's families turn to have us on Christmas day.  However, my family lucked out because we had Christmas Eve on Friday night with them and then Christmas Day on Saturday morning.  We ended up arriving in Jerome Saturday night to spend Christmas Eve with Ry's dad's dysfunctional side of the family!  (What a night : )  We then enjoyed a nice, relaxing Christmas Day with his parents and sister, Brooklyn.  That night Nancy's parents and Ry's rest of the family came over for presents and a delicious dinner.  It is tradition for his family to have prime rib on Christmas Day.  Nancy knows how much I HATE prime rib so, she made me a ham all to myself!  She is so wonderful and I definitely have to admit that they do spoil me.

I feel horrible that we got absolutely NO pictures during Christmas break to share.

New Years was, by far, the best yet!  First reason being, I had my first New Years kiss.  Is that just sad or what???  Last year, Ry and I went to bed at 9 freaking 30!!  Before being married, I was just a big fat loser!  Second reason being, we spent it with our bestest friends, Sidnee and Stephen Murray.  We enjoyed some delicious dinner, played at Jump Time until mine and Sidnee's wet panties could no longer take it because of laughing so hard, danced to Sid's parent's Kinect, and enjoyed some Mormon bubbly after sitting in the hot tub.  We were also able to make it to the basement in time to watch the New York ball drop (first time ever seeing that too!).  We love you guys!  Next year, we may have to put in some money for some babysitters?  Yeah?  Maybe I shouldn't speak too soon.  Hopefully Ry doesn't read this post........

Once again, so sorry I have no pictures to share.  Love you all!
